Business process re-engineering project for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), which culminated with recommendations for and procurement of an Enterprise Resource Planning System.

MBI Process Modellers created models and data flow diagrams showing all of MWAA’s business processes in a clear format using industry standard modelling notation. MBI also served as the technical resource for the project and taught the teams how to use the modelling, database and requirement tools, as well as defined and managed the electronic operating procedures and standards for the project. MBI developed an Administrative Plan to be used as a procedures document for trouble escalations, contact information, service level agreements, roles and responsibilities of both MWAA staff and vendor staff, acceptable levels on all equipment, maintenance schedules on all Common Wireless Area System components, system descriptions of all key system components, emergency restoration policies for all users of the system, and a detailed Disaster Recovery Plan.
